CCA LIAISON COMMITTEE
The purpose of our committee is to keep a good relationship with the Canadian Angus Association. We keep the CAA informed of any decisions that may have been made by our membership or Board of Directors, regarding any new policies or programs. The CAA in turn, has a means of communicating with our membership and Board.
It is our responsibility to make sure that the CAA knows of any concerns that our membership might have, and that they be addressed.
ADVERTISING COMMITTEE
The mandate of the advertising committee is to provide an advertising program that keeps Red Angus in the forefront. Our primary focus is commercial, our coverage is national and our goal is to enforce the advantages of Red Angus in all sectors of the livestock industry.
RED ROUND-UP COMMITTEE
Red Roundup is a world renowned Red Angus show and sale, allowing the newest breeders to the most established, the same opportunity to market industry leading cattle into the local and world markets. Held in Red Deer Alberta the last weekend of October each year, Red Roundup is one of the largest events of it's kind.
PROMOTION & SHOW COMMITTEE
The duties of the Promotion Committee are as varied as the people involved in the industry. Currently we have ongoing promotions in the following areas: 4-H, Canadian Junior Angus Associations, Show Sponsorships, Show Bull and Show Female of the Year Awards, Commercial Breeder of the Year, Purebred Breeder of the Year, Red Roundup Bull Futurity & Club Red, Society Newsletter, and retail promotional items.
